Silver State Expedition V
May 26 – May 28 all-day

Hello fellow explorers! I will be leading a trip into the wild heartland of Nevada on Memorial Day Weekend. Cost is $40 per person and that will get you Breakfast on Sunday and Monday and Dinner on Saturday and Sunday. We will meet up Chevron at I-80 and Sierra College Blvd. From there we will travel to Reno and grab breakfast at Black Bear. After that our last gas stop is 62.7 miles from Reno. The road will be excellent from Reno to our campsite. Please see the post in the forum if you have questions.

Signal Peak Day Trip

<p>Okay! I officially have the 4runner back in my hands after 2 weeks of work… So this Signal Peak trip is happening.</p><p>Meet at Cisco Grove exit Subway at 9AM, Thursday May 31st. Leave by 9:30AM. We will go up the front side of Signal Peak, back down, and possibly into Eagle Lake.</p><p>33s, limited slips, recovery rated tow points, 4Lo</p><p>I will be on the N6ICW repeater (147.195+ 123.0hz) ham repeater, and MURS 1 (151.820) murs open use frequency. I will have at least 1 other rig with me, possibly 2. Let me know if you want to go!</p>
Weekend Rubicon June 8-10 @ Loon Lake

Hey all, I am co-leading a Rubicon weekend trip on June 8-10.

Plan is Loon Lake meet at 7am, on the trail by 8am on Friday June 8th. We will be wheeling all the way in to Rubicon Springs on Friday. We will then camp out there, and head out Cadillac Hill on Sunday morning. Saturday will be filled with hiking, swimming, and general laziness at the springs. Camping is per vehicle at the springs, cash only.


Vehicle requirements are 35s and 1 locker. As well as Posse minimum requirements. If you have 2 lockers, then 33s are acceptable.

Tobin Ridge Rd / Feather River Canyon
Jun 9 – Jun 10 all-day
An overnight trip up the feather river canyon to tobin rd. Tobin rd is near rock creek and goes up the canyon up a lot of switch backs to the top. From there going to cow camp rd to cow camp camp ground. Camping the night there then going to Stirling City the morning and checking it out. From there heading back down through Paradise. Post up in the forum if you are interested in going in this trip.
Club Meeting @ Round Table Pizza

Items up for discussion include the club’s recent runs, and other trips/events, including our trail, updates on the rock trailer, past events and upcoming events. We will also discuss new member additions. New attendees are welcome and will be recognized. Bring your calendar! Fordyce to Committee @ Meet @ Nyack

Meet at Nyack Shell station @ 8:00am and head out by 8:30am.

Vehicles must meet the club minimum requirements, plus the following additional requirements:

  • Previous experience on a Difficult rated trail
  • No rear Dana 35
  • No metal valve stems
  • Front and rear lockers
  • Minimum 35″ tires

A vehicle inspection will take place at Nyack.
