Yes, I must say you guys are very helpful. I most appreciate your efforts. You club reminds me so much of my club... even down to the Christmas toy run...

Hmmm... you do present a lot of good choices.... not sure what to pick there.

Fordyce sounds interesting... but so does this Strawberry - Rubicon combo.
I think I'll have to leave it up to you guys though...

i totally agree with you on this one bender.

One final option...

All drive Signal Peak or Eagle Lake trail

Park your rig at Cisco Grove ($5 I think (safe))

Ride through Fordyce in one of our Jeeps.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

So, it sounds like a run through Eagle Lakes, park his rig at Cisco Grove, then have him ride with us through Fordyce.

Anybody else coming with us? I'll have an open seat for anybody else that wants a ride through the Fordyce portion.

Hopefully I will have my Jeep fixed by then..If we can't find a way to make that bracket work without breaking again, I am just going to order the Clayton stretch double triangulated kit and push my rear axle back another 5 to 10 inches and put a fuel cell in. I am tired of the bracket breaking 👿

Simple fix...

Weld a bar accross the back of your belly pan. Weld it to the frame rails (gusset it). Then weld the brackets to the new bar. That's basically what the Clayton kit does.

So many comments, so little time! 😛

I am out for the 13th, as I have to work. Richard, where will you be on the 12th? What are your plans for dinner? Maybe a group of us could meet up locally?

Where are these trails? I'd like to mark them on my map.
thanks

That's a good idea. It doesn't sound like anybody but Rob and I can make the run. But, we should all get together for dinner. Leatherby's?

Cool, so that would mean if a person wanted to check out Folsum Prison, he'd have to do that on the 12th 😀

To stay on schedule I'll have to head for Reno right after the trails...I should have allotted more time for this trip... 😕

I'm sure I'll return though... 8)

Yes, if you get the jeep up to Truckee.

Hey!

I'm getting closer to departure...

Sounds like you guys got a little shaken. I've really picked a good time for this trip. 🙄

Earthquakes, Fires and road washouts around Mt St Helens... I'm still going, wouldn't be an adventure without a few natural disasters...

See you guys in a couple of weeks!

Earth quake? I didn't feel any earth quake. You'll be safe here in Loomis, no fires, rumbles or washouts.

BTW, we got Rob's Jeep fixed, so he's good to go. Of course, the way he drives, we'll probably have to fix it a couple of more times before you get here lol

Yah, I saw ol' Arnie on the TV last night talking about the quake in LA. I had to chuckle - in his speech he specifically mentioned to make sure and include pets in your emergency plan...

They said they felt the rumbles in Las Vegas...

About fixing - we have a guy like that - just built himself in interesting ZJ on 37's I believe... interesting rig - luxury and all that!

Nope... funny thing, I had to factory order it to get no options.

Mine is as stock as they can be... power door locks and windows on a 2 door Jeep is just a bit silly, no?

The seats are mighty comfy though.... 8)
