Hey, i'm Brian. Im 16 and am getting my liscense in a couple months. I bought an 85 toyota a few months ago with 35's, dual t-cases, rear locker, winch etc... My dad also has an 04 Jeep TJ with a 4 1/2 inch rubicon express lift and 33's with a limited slip in the rear. Also Justin is the one who refered me to here. I think that my dad and i will be going up to iron mt. road tomorrow in my truck.

Here is mine at Fordyce a month ago.

A Toyota and a Jeep in the same family 😯

I'm pretty sure I've seen your truck here in Loomis. Very nice!

Welcome, and like they say, any friend of Justin's, is somebody we'll have to check out carefully (just kidding).

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Welcome, it's good to see the Jeeps and Toys coexist.

Of course, it probably ticks you dad off when you can go places that he can't and do it getting better gas mileage and without breaking parts. 😀

Hi Brian, welcome. That sounds like a pretty nicely built truck.

Hey Brian, glad you came on over. WELCOME!!
That must be an old picture of your Dad's Jeep, no sliders.? You forgot to mention that you and your Dad are fishermen. There are a few wheeling fishermen around the forum.

Yeah we have a jeep and a toyota. 😯 JohnDF, it is probaly the same truck, but another person owned it. He owns a aircraft welding shop in Loomis, so he was probably the owner then. I just bought it in late October. But yeah the toyota impressed me the first time up at fordyce. we got in about 4 miles up to the off camber section with the big cliff to the left, and in snow it made it a little harder. we slid the front off to the side of the cliff so when we got unstuck we had to turn around.

And yeah the jeep has sliders on it now. That pic was of the first time we went up to the rubicon, i dont have any more recent pics of it now. And yup we fish too.

I can keep up...as long as it's not steep or I can go slow. embarassed

Hey...that t-case had 180k+ miles on it and the rear end lasted for 10 years on "cheap gears." You think a stock Jeep rear end/t-case would hold up that long with 37s? 😀

Welcome Norcal crawler, it's nice to have another Toyota in the mix. 😀

Actually i'm not sure if we will go. My dad is all tired, he got back from a week long business trip to new york this week. I'll keep asking and see what he thinks though.

Edit: yeah i am not going to make it. Ill try to get to the next one though.
