We received this message through our Contact Us form. He is in The Netherlands and looking for info on a particular 1945 Willys MB.
If anyone has any information, let me know and I can forward it on to him.
Dear Sir/Madam of the Posse 4x4 club, I have an odd question for you and I hope that you or a member of your club could help me out. I'm the owner of an original 1945 Willys MB which I am completly restoring to its war-time state. I have the original frame number plate which shows chassisnumber, production date (April 14 1945) etc. but there isn't any history known where it served during the war etc. That is what I would like to figure out. The earliest reference I have is that is bought somewhere in Granite Bay by the end of 2009. By that time it had Californian licence plates 'AUF 496'. And I have some pitcures from that time (the 4x4 modifications like the big chairs, the rollcage, fuel opening on left side and front winch are quite unique so I hope someone from Granite Bay recognizes it!). Pictures: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ayaz.....5.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/0h0s.....6.jpg?dl=0 After that it has been riding near Lodi California, been shipped to Stadskanaal the Netherlands in 2014 and I bought it 2015. Can you help my any further by finding and getting in contact with the owner from before 2009? Thank you in advance, Frank van Duin. Milsbeek - Gennep - The Netherlands

So i can't get any info from my friend personal info is of course a no no...
That said my friend said if the person bought had a title they would know who the last owner was and could contact them that way. Not sure if the new owner would have a California title for it after being shipped but if they have the address of the person they bought it from I'd be more then willing to go knock on a door and ask them questions
