I thought it would be interesting to see what our clubs members feel are the best or are their favorite 4X4 websites. I'm not that much of a web wheeler but I would like to find some good websites to visit. Our club members constantly amaze me with their knowledge of wheeling! I will start with this one that apparently involves two brothers and their sidekick:

Some of my favorites...
Marlincrawler.com
TacomaWorld.com
TTORA.com
ih8mud.com
youtube.com (find any tutorial you could ever dream of!)
myoffroadradio.com (Ham radio classes, working on recovery equipment retail shop, and trail maps (similar to 4x4trailmaps, but downloadable GPS Tracks and repeater coverage for the trail, with an easier user interface to search for trails)... currently uploading 120 offroad trails for NorCal alone. Just putting the finishing touches on the ham classes, then will start working on the trail maps and trail guides).
Facebook:
First Gen 4Runner Mafia
Norcal 4x4 (More volunteer off road recovery based for NorCal... gets quite active during the winter)
Norcal 4x4 Crew
Toyotaholics
Least Favorite:
Pirate4x4.com (Too many ads and pop ups... lots of great information on there... but holy hell, it can be such a horrible user experience)

That's one of the reasons that I asked. I find the black Pirate4X4 background difficult on my eyes if I read it for more than a few minutes.

One of my favorites also!! LOL!! Thanks Jeff
Pirate use to be a great site until they sold it and now morons live there. Plus all the ads now.
Posse4x4.org has been a favorite of mine for a long time.

Ya, I am one of the mods in the group. We are taking a small group of rigs (3-4) into the con this wednesday to recover someones jeep. We just had 3 recoveries yesterday alone. They really start ramping up when we get rain lol

Wow! That’s very cool that you help others in need. Thanks for doing this.
If you ever need help. Post up. I would be willing to help if I can get off work.

If the rain holds up this weekend, we will be going back in to Big Sluice middle of next week to finish getting the jeep out (hopefully) lol. I just did a recap of our last attempt on the "Bear Valley Mid Week Run" thread under trail runs.
