So it's time to start the rebuild and I was just looking for opinions and options I may be missing.
08 jk unlimited Rubicon
**I'm looking to put a roll cage in.
Bolt in or weld no problem.
Don't want to build one just want to buy and install.
Which one and why?
**instead of trying to get the body work perfect I'm going to get it close and cover it with rear corner gaurds. I do need full length units
Which ones and why?
** I need a new hard top
Was planning on just going factory but wanted to make sure I was not missing some super cool unit I could get?
*** bonus I want new front seats
Any opinions?
** any reasons to not put rcv shafts up front? ?
Thanks guys!

SEMA had quite a few this year based on the photos I saw. DV8 and Wild Board had fast back versions. Smittybuilt had a safari top version. All had basic single or dual piece tops too.

Seat heaters

Cool Jon!!
I really liked the look and design of the Off Road Evolution Cage. It's a chromoly and has great visibility. https://www.northridge4x4.com/.....sport-cage
It works off the factory cage. If you need a fresh cage and don't want to work off the factory cage, I would go with the genright weld in cage. http://genright.com/products/j.....e-kit.html It's a nice unit and the most complete one I feel.
As for corner guards, I would go with Poison Spyder corners. After watching and helping Brett install Evo corners, I wouldn't go that route. https://www.northridge4x4.com/.....hts-bare The Evo ones had a huge gap and were hard to manipulate to the bodylines to minimize the gap. Poison Spyders supposedly follow the bodylines a lot better. I would go full length. More strength and surface to help carry the load when bouncing off of rocks.
Hard top, there are cool overland style tops out there, but if you don't want to pay a lot head to craigslist and buy a used one.
Seats...Let me know what you find and can I sit them after you do the install?
Um...what?

I was near Off Road Evolution a few months ago and stopped in specifically to see in person their Roll Cage. The fit and style to me look better than others I have seen. They use square stock across the dash and it seems to sit a bit lower and not look so bulky. In my conversation with Drew at EVO I asked him if they have had anybody do a self install. He said not as of yet. I suggest you give Drew a call and see what he has to say about the install and cost.

There are two versions of the Ursa-minor top, one that opens up, and one the folds forward for double the tent space. http://adventuretrailers.com/v.....e-habitat/
