My kid's Jeep is having some type of electrical issues and needs to go into the shop. I could take it to the dealership but I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for local shops that are reasonable and reliable. Must be in the Auburn or the Rocklin/Roseville area.
I used to wheel a lot. . .

The Applegate garage in Applegate is excellent. Very reasonable pricing and top quality work. It's just a few minutes past Auburn and well worth the drive. They saved a client of mine in Sacramento $1200 on replacing a cracked head in his 85 Toyota over what he was quoted in Sacramento. Zac is the owner. It might take a few days to get your Jeep in the shop for service but they will service it quickly once you do. Before making an appointment, I would suggest calling the shop and asking to talk to Zac and describe the problem. Tell him Jeff Root referred you. You will see how sharp he is and you will definitely get a sense of comfort after speaking with him. Check out his Yelp reviews: https://www.yelp.com/biz/apple.....-applegate
