Just picked up new Sage 5 wt, 4 pc, Z-Axis rod .... and new Scientific Anglers sharkskin line... 8)
** Fly Fishing Specialties placed and order for me on 4 dozen EC Caddis Size 12... (custom tie).... approx 2 week lead time.... 2 dozen are spoken for at this point...
If they are good quality I will post and those of us that like the size 12 EC will have another local source....

Oh my God! That is sick...but those curly hairs catch trout! Did Justin tell you his ex-girl lended some of the curly hairs? Custom orders will be taken on this rare fly. 😯

Offline 😯 Don't let Rob see that pic. I don't think he's ever caught a fish that big. Although, he did hook a few last year that ended up getting away. They grow big fish in Idaho and Montana.

We all know it depends on where u fish .... In the Sierra a majority of the good caddis hatches the size 12 is small....

I went to AEG fly fishing movie last Friday...National Tour of Guys who make fly fishing dvd's...
One segment they were catching 40" trout in Mongolia...was insane... had some cool 4x4 footage as well...
