We will start at High Hill Ranch for those of you who run a little behind. From there we will explore some new ranches as well as stop by a couple of known sites. We plan to be done just as it starts getting busy\, around 11-12. SUMMARY:2026 Gold Country Toy Run
DESCRIPTION:This is always a fun event. No 4-wheel drive vehicle needed\, but it’s great to bring one. \nSaturday December 5\, 2026 \n39th Annual 4×4 Gold Country Toy Run\nHosted by Hi-Landers 4WD Club \nThis event is open to everyone and a lot of fun! \nBring camping chairs\, blankets\, pop-ups\, fire pits\, heaters\, your wallets and that positive attitude.  This event is for a great cause and the main resource for our club’s ability to donate toys and food for families in need.  In addition to the club donations\, each member is encouraged to bring a new\, unwrapped toy or two.  The toy cost is your choice but usually $5.00 or more\, as well as additional any spare canned food items you may have.  \nMeet at McDonalds near Hazel Ave and Hwy 50 by 8:30AM. A lot of us get there early and grab a coffee and breakfast sandwich.\nWe will caravan across the street to the Folsom Aquatic Center before 9:00 and park along the far right. \nThe Hi-Landers have a snack booth with chips\, hot dogs\, hamburgers\, chili\, fries and drinks.  We usually support them with buying from that as well. They have raffle prizes you can buy tickets and participate in.  The more you buy the cheaper they are. \nSometimes club members will bring goodies to share\, like cookies. \nSanta is there all set up to take fun photos with\, and the air is full of music from a great DJ!  They usually have tables set up with activities for the kids (big and small). \nDecorate your rig! They have a parade where the contestants drive by the crowd slowly and show off their efforts and then someone is picked a winner! \nIt usually lasts until about 1PM so stay as long as you would like to enjoy the comradery and the day. \nThere are bathrooms on site. \n**Be sure to sign the registration book under our club!**      \nWe have won most participation in the past so let’s keep the streak going! \nBe there or be square!
