Great...Jeep parts, just want I need...I figured I would get screwed by the whole deal. I'll probably end up with a spare set of u joints for a Dana front end. 🙄
Under the new administration, you get what you get, and can't complain about it. Just think of it as free cheese. You may not want it, but you're going to eat it.

Keane's distribution:
You will receive a carburetor
You will receive a conversion kit for a fold-down tailgate
It will cost you one lugnut per axle.
You will not receive new wheels.

Awsome trip. Winch Hill #1 was brutal. The water crossings were DEEP.We all got hung up somewhere along the trail. Fresh snow on the way out. No breakage except Rob's winch rope...and don't believe it when they tell you rope falls to the ground when it breaks...that thing went off like a bullet and the hook left a BIG digger in a tree.

That's interesting. Mine just dropped to the ground like a rag. I wonder what the difference was.
How did the hook get loose?

The picture I have in my mind is the synthetic rope stretched the tow strap, and when the rope broke, the tow-strap (working like a big rubber band) launched the hook into the tree?
sounds reasonable. What about the other end of the broken rope?

I think we all got a little tippy on this run, some more than others. I know my buddy from work got a E-ticket ride on this run 😀
I think John added some more dents to his passenger door too
I agree with John on the Iroks. I was very impressed..I wouldn't hesitate on buying them after seeing them perform on this trip, rock, dirt, mud, and snow and they kept right up with our MTR's..........

Awesome trip guys, thanks for having me along! I was watching Rob's end of the Jeep when that rope snapped, it definitely came back quick and wrapped up around his front suspension. It came back rather quick, but I think if it had hit someone it would've been maybe a sting, but that other end with the hook would have done some damage. The safety clip was completely destroyed when it hit that tree. Anyone know if the tree saver straps are the same construction as a yank strap or if they are designed to stretch the same way?
I've got some pictures I'll be uploading later today along with a couple of videos I hope turned out okay. Oh yeah, I was really happy with my Irok's, ran them at arond 8 psi all day and they were conforming to just about everything I put them on. Only really got denied on the pinch rock, but my 4 banger just wouldn't put out enough squirrel power to get up that rock on the right side All-in-all, great trip though, that trail was tough!
Out in the garage collecting parts....
