Put the new taller, wider tires on the Samurai, Need to do flex test to check for clearances. So going out to Prairie City Tomorrow ( Saturday) to do that. Come out and join us and play a bit.
The cost is $5 per Vehicle for all day
13300 White Rock Rd Rancho Cordova, CA 95742
We'll meet in the 4X4 area by the upper Restrooms at 9:00 am then go down and start playing. Stop around 12:00 to have lunch then maybe paly some more.
Come out and test your rig, Can you make it up the pyramid? How about the differential dragger hill?
If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.

It was a great day, we had 5 rigs show up. 3 members - Kris in the Gladiator, Drew in his JK, Me in the Samurai, and 2 new - Sean and John in their great Toyota 4 Runner and Skip with passenger, my son Timothy in the Red Tin Top Suzuki Samurai.
So Skip has 3 runs - 1 meeting
My son Timothy has 2 runs, 2 meetings
And that was first run for Sean and John. (not sure on their meeting count)
Found tire rubbing points on my Samurai with the taller tires. Nothing major will need to be done. Will do the body editing this week. I am really happy with the grip that the Patagonia's had. At first Did 17lbs it was OK, then dropped to 10lbs, big difference. At 10lbs. would grab real good when it would go to climb. I will go out after doing body trimming and do a pressure test of starting at 10lbs then dropping 2lbs at a time to see what pressure will be best.
If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.
