This has been a long time coming but Jessica and I would like to introduce the club to our new business, Exploration Ready.  Use coupon code “GHP2019” for 25% off all first aid items.

We are still in the early stages but clicking the link above should take you to our website and our online store is up and active. If you have any site issues of spot any mistakes please let me know as I am sure there are some.

Currently we are offering a few different size first aid kits including a small, medium (labeled as basic), and a large kit as well as a separate bleeding control kit.  We also have small kits to toss in your glovebox with things like sunscreen, tecnu (for poison oak), and basic bandaid type stuff so you don’t have to dig through you larger kit on the trail.

These kits are a better value than similar kits on the market and the contents have been modified by what we actually use while wheeling and what isn’t appropriate for use in the middle of the woods.  For example we do not include butterfly bandages as you can never get perfectly clean in the woods and they are a great way to seal in dirt and infection.  We will also be paying it forward and a portion of every purchase will be donated towards keeping trails open.

We are finishing up the paperwork to offer CPR classes and future products include spill kits (just sorting out packaging now). We plan on adding more in the future like fire extinguishers, camping gear, and a 4×4 specific first aid class but we are open to other suggestions.

Soon. Jessica has the certification for a trainer so we are just waiting on the paperwork for the red cross to go through so we can issue cards.  Within the month for sure.

Just a reminder, the coupon code “GHP2019” is still good for 25% off through the end of the year.

We have now added FSA and HSA account support through our credit card processor (not paypal).  If you have an FSA or HSA debit card then you can purchase one kit per year as an approved medical expense.  Do not use paypal if you want to use an HSA or FSA card.

We are also certified by the American Red Cross for CPR, First-Aid, AED, and Wilderness First-Aid classes for up to 10 people at a time.  We also have all of the equipment necessary.  We tailor the classes to the audience so our classes for 4wheeling/camping/chainsaw work will differ from the classes we have done for contractors and office workers based on the types of injuries likely and environment in which they occur.  Let me know if you have an employer needing classes held at a specific location or if you would just like to take the class for the club.

I will have examples of our kits at the meeting tonight so you can all get your hands on them and ask questions.
