What it takes

Becoming an “Official” member of the Posse is easy, and doesn’t require running the Rubicon backwards, upside-down, and blindfolded at night, etc. Simply attend 3 meetings AND 3 runs or events within a years time, OR attend 6 runs or events within a years time. A run is considered to be official if it is a regularly scheduled run or event on the Posse calendar or if a minimum of four vehicles are in attendance with at least two members present. Then you host a bbq on a trail run, event, or location of your choosing, and pay your annual Posse dues of $20.

Membership in one or more of the state or national land use organizations such as the California Four Wheel Drive Association or Blue Ribbon Coalition is encouraged.

It is the intention of the Posse to limit “Official” members to approximately 20 Active-Status Members at any given time, with as many as 5-10 Prospective Members. Friends or guests with a 4WD may participate in runs/events with prior approval, provided space is available for the run being considered.

Club meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at Round Table Pizza, 9500 Greenback Lane, Folsom, CA 95630. Meetings start at 7:30 in the banquet room. New attendees are welcome and will be recognized!
