Rubicon Loop Run - November 8th?

I am unable to lead the run on Sunday.

I need to replace a unit bearing and two tie rod ends. I won't get this done before Sunday.
Sorry all. I will lead a loop once I'm all fixed up.

Does anyone want to lead in my absence? Or, will this be cancelled?

We would be glad to lead this run but I'm not sure anyone wants to follow since we haven't a clue where this goes. It might be fun getting lost tho. 🙂

I'm still down, but if it gets cancelled we can always go do trail 11n36 there's will be snow up there.

My unit bearing is 400 and the steering is 110 plus my time to fix it... I'll see if I can get it by the weekend.

Thanks josh. I'm ordering the bearing this morning. Let's see if I can get it Friday. Maybe I can install everything on Saturday. I'll pull the tie rod tonight and get the ends off.

I'm interested and plan on bringing my sister, but need more information please. Can I bring my dog please? I take my boxer everywhere with me. Can someone email me the details, like what the trail experience will be like. Will there be snow on the trail? I'm a new learner with limited behind the wheel off roading and want to make sure I am not throwing any parts I break off in the back of my Jeep while trying to make it home. Will there be spotters to help me and encourage me thru the trail. I'm assuming bring lunch, warm clothes an so on.

I ordered my bearing today. If it's here Friday I can instal on sat. I'm apparently a hoarder and have two extra tie rod ends so I'll get that fixed tonight. I'll need the bearing and my airline replaced in order to go.

I'll post when I get home Friday if I could use help on Saturday, ok?

No requirements for this run! Bringing your pooch is fine just be sure you have a leash and they are friendly. There may be some snow. Yes there will be spotters here and encouragement. Bring food. And warm clothes!

The slabs can be fun to navigate your first time, but I will still follow you guys if you end up leading this run.

Brad, is it a re-drilled super-duty unit bearing or something more specific? Come on UPS!

It is a modified super duty using a dodge tone ring.

I received my bearing today, and fixed the tie rod end.
I'll start on the bearing tomorrow and try to finish it with my airline on Saturday. If I can get it done I'll go Sunday!
