I don't know. Is this a "Gold Hills Posse" run? My Jeep has some "issues" and I wouldn't want to show up on a run with know mechanical problems. 😲- Guest former userGuest former user

I found another bag of flex bushings in my work truck, I'll bring enough for all of us.

Just talked to Jeff, pump and box all seem good. He is going out now to finnish and test drive. Soooooo it's going to be cold. lows in the low 20's,highs in the mid 50's. If the fuel line comes in for my saw I will bring it. If not is anyone else going to bring one? - Guest former userGuest former user

Ok I'm packed with lots of warm clothes. The weather looks clear and cold. I'm good with it as long as it doesn't rain.
No chain saw though. I could use my buck knife. Well, I guess we'll see.
I am going to try and get off work early. When and where do you want to meet. - Guest former userGuest former user
Want to give it a day and see what happens at work? Sue and i were going to go Auburn,Cool, Georgetown way because of her gearing, 62mph = 2800rpm but we could go hwy 50. Jeff usually goes hwy 50. I think we are all up for suggestions. Do I smell breakfast somewhere?
- Guest former userGuest former user
Yea, doesn't Georgetown have a place we could grab a bite. I try not to miss any meals. Any way I will let you know if I can get off early.
Are you going open top or are you putting on a soft top? - Guest former userGuest former user

Your run you pick it! 🙄 🙄 🙄 Not sure if Georgetown has a breakfast place or not. We are willing to do what ever. Might be a little late in getting back to you here, expecting another longggggggg day today. I will ask Sue to check back here when she gets off work or you can call my cell. - Guest former userGuest former user

If you are off-off and want to go up today give Jeff a call. He is off today, we could meet you tomorrow at a time and place that you choose. Post it here and go. - Guest former userGuest former user
Saturady morning is still my best bet. Should we meet at eight in Georgetown for breakfast?

Jeff- that guy with the foolsize SubscriberJeff- that guy with the foolsize started this SubscriberWe made it back without carnage. We had a great time. The weather was beautiful and the trail was empty. We had the whole place to ourselves. Well, except a few Toyotas upside down in Little Sluice. We saw a few cows on the drive up... with Cow Bells on and a Disco Sammy playing "Black and yellow" on repeat. Joe spotted one of the Toyotas instructing him to go "Hard driver" which resulted in the driver getting his face massaged by a full tool bag. And Sue left the ketchup at home. I let my wife drive a good portion of the trail. She did wonderful for her first time!

Jeff you really need to tell WHOLE story behind the "key" words and phrases. 😁 😤 :rasta: What a great weekend. The weather was awesome. Shorts and tee shirts by 9am. A little cool at night but a good fire took care of that. Very few people on the trail. I think we saw less than 15 rigs total in 2 days. One of the best weekends on the trail this year, no traffic, very little dust, almost forgot the weather was awesome. I'll see if sue can post her pics. Maybe Bill and Jeff can do the same. Will post a little more later.

This was an incredible run! We all had fun. Except for a few "beauty marks" on the Jeff's truck everyone made it out unscathed. We stayed at winter camp next to Little Sluice. The place was empty. I was expecting it to be cold but once the sun was out it was shorts and t-shirt weather. Jeff led me up the Chicken Line in the little Sluice. There is nothing chicken about the Chicken Line. I had some serious pucker factor but made it. We enjoyed watching the toyota buggy guys being drunk and stupid up to the point when one of them almost got seriously hurt by rolling his truck. "Hard driver", but not that much, right Joe? He was luck to only come away with a split lip. That night Joe made a great camp fire. We ate and played word games. The night was cold but bearable. We awoke to the the disco buggy serenading us with their favorite song "Black and Yellow". We relaxed and I had left over eggs from the Coroner Cafe. Jeff and Jolie dined on powered doughnuts. And we had Starbucks. Don't get excited, they haven't opened a branch on the "Con", we brought it in. Another beautiful day. We headed out and only saw three other rigs heading in. We had the trail to our selves. Great day!
