Hello, new to the group. Ran into one of your finest at Starbucks in Placerville and he told me about this club.
I just had a nice trip out to Barney Riley hot springs. Highway 395 China Springs starting point to East Carson River 10 miles in, takes about 2 hours.
This is the easiest route I've taken to this camp at the hot springs.
Anyone have an opinion or alternate routes they like?

Offline That's the only way I know of to get to the Hot Springs.
I knew some other trails that led to the river, but they have since been closed off.
I used to wheel a lot. . .

Offline Technically the trail from south of markleyville is the only route on the official trails map but the route you took from the north east is very well traveled and officers have been coming in from the trail to the north from the reservoir so still kindof the wildwest out there.
