My name is George. I'm in EDH and looking for a local club. Thursday's are tough on my schedule so I'll try to grab a day off to say hello.

I enjoy Hunting/ fishing/ camping/ wheel'n. I've got a bone stock 2006 LJ Rubicon that I'm dying to mod. Nothing to crazy though, 33" tire max, ya right lol .

Just want to build it right the first time and not build then rebuild....but I guess its inevitable, I already bought a rear bumper then changed my mind, now gotta get rid of one, oh well.

Enjoying the forum and looking forward to swaping ideas and wheel'n in the future.

Welcome George! We have several unlimiteds in the club so you will be able to check out various upgrades installed and see if you like something. Also, most TJ parts will fit an LJ, so you can check out the large group of jeeps as well.

You can attend our snow patrol this Saturday if you choose. Please look for details in the run section and on the calendar.

Welcome!

Welcome. I'm glad you checked in. I noticed that you've been on the board in the morning and I was about to start asking questions so you'd have to post. 😀

Thanks for the greetings...Ya got the jeep feb 07 and been surfing for idea's ever since...ready to pull the trigger on my first mods soon.

Overall theme for build would be armor, TT, low COG, and 33's.

Welcome

Couple of thoughts...

Do you have any wheeling experience?

Looks like you already have a list of mods you want. They look like they came right off the pages of Jeeps Unlimited. Check out some of our rigs to see what we've found works well for us.

And most importantly...What's your favorite movie???

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Welcome. I agree that the Mopar fuel injecting was one of the best mods I did on my 83 CJ. It made it actually worth driving. 😀

Oh come on John. It can't be any worse than your favorite cowboy movie, Brokeback Mountain. 😀

I can lend it to you if you want to see it. Awesome movie.

Welcome George!! Great to see another Unlimited around. Watch out for this club though. I started hanging out with them a year ago, and within 3 months I was talked into new axles, lift, and 37" tires. 😀

I have several that I really like a lot. It's hard to narrow down a favorite. I really like Army Of Darkness, Resident Evil, and Unforgiven...

It was probably the greatest western movies of all time. Who in the heck would want to watch Randolph Scott, John Wayne, and Glenn Ford when you can watch a couple guys doing brokeback mountin' wink
