anybody have a welder and torch
goin cheep on the rear axle til i find 8.8 or get my TJ down here
and how much would you charge me to do it
i dont mind getting dirty and would help 110%
i just dont know how to weld yet

and the tj has a dana44

I'm not a fan of Lincoln lockers. I'd rather put a decent locker in the front if I was getting rid of the rear.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

As flexy as the axle tubes are on the D35, I'm not sure how long the rear end would last with a Lincoln locker or spool (neither has differentiation).

After doing a quick web search, the general consensus is to carry extra axles.

In all seriousness, I'll be installing a D44 in the rear of my XJ in late January which will make a C8.25 available if you're interested.

Just redid the brakes and wheel cylinders. Also raised the shock mounts last year for more clearance.
