Whats up gang.. Has anyone done a rear disk break conversion on there TJ. Looking to get a little more breaking power.

Any info would be awesome..

I considered it but found a new 60 was cheaper than building a 44. I guess it depends whether this is your only intended upgrade.

Rear disk brakes are nice, but don't add a whole lot to your braking power. Something like 90% of your braking is done with the front brakes. You'd be better off upgrading the front than the rear if you're strictly looking for braking power. Check into Vanco's big brake kit or Blackmagicbrakes.com for some options.

Good points! I'll more than likely upgrade my fronts. The rear kit was 500$ so It will be about the same.
