Yes, assuming you have a locker.

    I used to wheel a lot. . .

x2, but there is a spot or two that have the potential to reach out and grab you.

my jeep has 2 lockers, i just read a trail review that says it's a 10 out of 10 diffuculty with no bypasses. it recomends that you have a seriously modified rig to make it. it also says its a 2 day trail to get in and out.

Don't believe everything you read. People like to think the trail they just conquered is the hardest thing on the planet. There is only one "difficult" section that doesn't have a by-pass. There are also a few "hard" sections. With a small group, little traffic, and well modified rigs, we could run in-and-out in just over a half day. You should have no difficulty running in-and-out in a day.

The last trip there was traffic on the way in and it took about 4-5 hours to get to the lake, but we made it out in 2 hours 40 minutes including a stop for pictures at sunset.

    Closed Mondays.

It may also be more enjoyable to make it a two day run. It's usually crowded on the weekends at the lake, but if you can find a spot, it's a nice enough place to camp. I'm trying to remember how long it took Fred and I to run it a few years back. I'm sure we didn't start too awful early, stopped for lunch at the lake, and were back in Folsom in time to order pizza.

The trail is an easy day trip without traffic, but the trail is getting crowded now. It is fun and a little different. There are now by-passes to most of the harder spots, but not all.

Your Jeep is setup just right to make Barrett a fun trail to run. If you take your time it will do just fine.

My Jeep used to look like yours. 😁
