Kevin is broke on the Fordyce trail and Brad is trying to find help. He is heading out the Committee Trail and down I80 to Auburn for parts. He needs somebody with a ready welder or trail welder to go meet him in Auburn or along I80. He's also looking for heavy duty ratchet straps and possibly HD track bar end. But the welder would help a lot. Can anybody help out?

I used to wheel a lot. . .

If you can help, call my cell phone: 759-2282

I am willing to help and drive something up to Cisco Grove / Auburn.  Unfortunately, I don't have a welder or Track Bar.

I'm in the Auburn area between Auburn and Colfax. Don't have a ready welder but let me know if you need manpower or anything else. My son is a welder by trade and usually gets off work at 3:30 but he might be working overtime today.

Thanks Sharkbyte Jeff. He is going to run around and grab stuff for Brad. Posse pulls through.

If anybody has a trail welder that Jeff can pick up it would help tons.

I called WFO Concepts. They are off of Hwy 49 just north of Auburn. They have used stock JK track bars and lots of other parts if needed but need to know exactly what is required. Here is their phone. I can make a parts run if you like. (530) 268-9494

Kevin,

I have your shinny new Metal Cloak Parts.... If you don't pick them up in the next 10 minutes I am going to install them on my rig... Lol...wink

By the way those guys at Metal Cloak are awesome!  They really stand behind their products!

Let me know when I can get them to you.

I am glad you got off the hill safely.

When I talked to Brad I told him I had a ready welder but I hadn't got off work. I never heard back that they still needed help. I would have ran up!

Kevin if you still need a house call welder I know a few good ones. I could get them out there!

I'm glad everyone made it out

I have a welder coming tomorrow.

The new control arms look beefier than the old ones. They also put the jam nut on the opposite end and the U piece is welded to the arm itself. No more through bolt welded in place. The new track bar end is cast instead of welded too.

Also, does anyone know where to get the hydro-assist hose ends locally? I want to pick up some extra 90 degree hose ends.

Some shops can make hose, like the Riebes in /orangevale.

There's a full on hydraulic shop right by my work on Trade Center dr in Rancho Cordova. And if he can't weld you up. I can always drag my welder over and hook you up.
