Try this out little brother.

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/profende ... 22451?mt=8

It's an app for your iphone. It will help in determining spring rates. mr-green

Um...what?

This should be interesting. I've thought about coil overs my self. Of course, in the case of the XJ, would need to go to some form of 3 or 4 link rear suspension. Looking forward to how this all turns out for you.

I am going to do a long 4 link and I will be keeping the track bar.

Very nice 17" will give you a lot of articulation. Where are you going to mount them in the rear? Drill through the floor of your bed and build a cage? Did you also get air bump stops to match?

I am very interested in how this goes.

I'm thinking front only.

That's what I want to do with my JKU.

My white Jeep is pretty much done, as in I won't be spending any more money on upgrades. But if I were to spend more I'd have to put coil-overs near the top of the list.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Is it after the new orange paint job?

If I was to put more money into it, I'd tube out the back half and do coil-overs front and rear. I'd also put in new seats and harnesses.

Nice. I think you will like the on-road manors of the 4 link vs. 3 link. The Johnny's should take care of the bind that stock framed 4 link rigs get with 16"+ travel in front. Those 3' shocks are BIG DOGS.
