This Saturday my front hubs wouldn't lock in. So today I disassembled them and found a surprise, nothing. There was nothing in the locking hubs; no springs, gears, no nothing, just the selector and cap. So much for buying a used jeep.
Bummer. 🙁
Fortunately, a good set of hubs isn't super expensive. At least compared to a lot of other things that could have been wrong. And, it was easy to troubleshoot. 😀
