Has anyone upgraded their JK headlights?? I'm really tired of the lack of lighting from the stock housing. Should I go for bulb upgrade or complete replacement or both?

I'm not wasting my money on a bulb replacement. I'm buying an LED set.
I haven't decided on brand yet however.

That's because you drive your new dodge at night. You're just confused. I understand!
I upgrades the bulbs on my TJ. It helped a lot. I haven't done anything to my JK headlights.

I did the HID conversion - 60$ and about 243226 times better than stock.
If I had the money I would do an led conversion but for 60 amazing and I have had no issues with it for 3or4 + years

Offline So, I hear that Grant (Sierra LED) is currently developing some LED headlights, which may be worth waiting for. Maybe all of us can express interest for a group deal at this time for when they come out. Greg, could you contact him?
