Hayward, a fellow jeeper, JK Forum Moderator, and a friend who I've wheeled with several times was killed in a car accident Sunday. His wife was life flighted out but is doing fine. He was rear ended by a super-duty while in his Dodge truck, and pushed in to a Honda Pilot in front of him.

Hayward was a stand up guy. He owned a silver JKU and was always a positive presence to the community, peers on runs, and those he helped with their modification installs. For those of you that know him, this is sad news. For those of you that did not, he was a great person.

Very sad - only wheeled with him once I can remember and it was actually the first run I ever attended - very nice gentleman, hope the best for his family. And thank you for the update

Very sad. Hayward was a great guy. Did several runs with him. He always had a positive attitude and was not scared of any trail. Great guy. He will be missed.
