k-jeep said If all goes as planned, this may be a busy build-up summer [https://posse4x4.org/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-smileys/icon_emot-dance.gif]. If it doesn’t then very little will change this summer [https://posse4x4.org/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-smileys/sf-cry.gif]. Stay tuned.

You better have your jeep done before mine!!

    Um...what?

For anyone weighing up the salvage JK route mentioned above, check the chassis before treating it as a cheap starting point for an axle swap. A front-end damage label does not tell you whether the frame rails or suspension mounting points moved; ask for underside photos and a frame measurement report. Match the VIN and lot number across the auction photos, check the title and odometer notes, and include fees and transport in the repair budget before buying lift parts. Replacing the axles will not put a bent chassis straight.

For photo examples of later JKs and newer Wranglers going through Copart/IAAI, the archive is grouped by model year here: https://allcarhistory.com/catalog/jeep/wrangler
