Hey Keane, any updates on looking for a new wheeler? Haven't heard you mention much about rig shopping lately.

    I used to wheel a lot. . .

Things have really been on hold lately. My job isn't the most secure at this point and teaching jobs are hard to come by for Kelly. Good news is that I haven't spent the 4Runner money yet, but, I'm sitting on it until things settle out a bit. The plan was to sell the Corolla, but if I have to get a different job it'll likely be back down in the Sacramento area and I'll need a commuter.

Sounds like it's time to buy a beater that you can unload quickly if you need to. Any Toyota should fit the bill 😁

Like I keep telling you - the utility industry is always hiring! Especially engineers. now, You have to be sure you tell them I referred you. Then I'll split my referral bonus with you (80/20)!

Not the water side. πŸ™ Your split on the referral bonus is better than the split I'll give you on my signing bonus. πŸ˜€ Plus I'm too 'civil' for you guys. πŸ˜€

The problem is that I really like my job now. I gave up a bunch of money to live up here, but I knew that going in. I don't think I'll have a problem getting a different job, it'll just be a commute that I really don't want to make. I'm done with the city. I had the sense to get out I'm not getting sucked back in. I'll use the 4Runner money to buy guns and start growing dope before I go back. πŸ˜‚ Kelly not being able to get back to work is really a curve ball that we weren't expecting when we had kids. Hopefully things will settle out. I had a line on the perfect truck for about 11k when things started getting sketchy. Selling the corolla and using the 4Runner would have set up a pretty nice truck at that point.
