Know a good driveshaft shop???

    I now need a new rear driveshaft for my truck. Does anyone know of a good driveshaft shop that can build me a better than stock driveshaft?

    Sac driveline seems to be a good shop with a lot of parts in stock. I think Kevin had his made there.

    I've use Sac Driveline twice. They do quality work for a fair price.

    Sac Drive line in west Sacramento is where I had mine done.

    I had my drive line done by Sac drive line they do good work and on short notice. This is the No. I have 775-331-4558 after I installed it the guy had me bring my jeep to him he took some mesurments to get the drivline angel so I knew how to ajust the drive line. And that was at no extra cost just part of the service.

    I just ordered a complete rear driveshaft assembly from Drive Line Service of West Sac. for $678. A new one from Ford is $942! A used one from salvage yard is $536.

    It is a two piece shaft. My rear shaft is bent and the center bearing for the front shaft is smashed (it is a non-removable bearing). Therefore I need the entire assembly. My new one will be fully serviceable so any damage in the future can be replaced individually. Due to my work schedule, I'm hoping to have the truck drivable on Saturday.

    I did get my driveshaft in last Saturday, however it had a vibration from 15 to 25mph. I went back to Driveline Service yesterday and they figured out that the center support bearing was not the right one. They replaced it and that solved the vibration problem.
