Anyone have a good source for a new 3 speed auto transmission for my Jeep. Mine is toast 😥

At this point I am not sure if I do need a new tranny. I have been trying to get what I thought was a transmission pan leak fixed. I have gone through 5 gaskets, 20 qts of oil and even took it to a transmission shop and they tried. Turns out that the problem was the transfer case adapter was leaking at the gasket where it bolts up to the transmission. The fluid was coming down and hitting the top edge of the pan and traveling around the edge of the tranny pan making it look like the pan was leaking. I had to pull the belly pan and the transmission mount before I finally found the leak. I was convinced the transmission was bad and it was causing the pan to leak.

Now I need to pull my Atlas and change the adapter gasket. The added weight of the Atlas finally took its toll of the adapter. I am going to put an Atlas support ring in when I re-install it. I got lucky. A lot of Jeeps have broken the bell housing from the added weight: shock:

I spoke to soon! My transfer case adapter is cracked where it bolts up to the transmission 🙁 I was told it would eventually happen due to the weight of the Atlas, so I am guess I got lucky that I got 3 years out of it and it didn't crack the transmission.

Kevheb, you might look into something like this Atlas support ring for your Stak. I got luck that I didn't total my transmission.

I was thinking about it before but now will definitely be getting the extra mounting bracket for the Stak. 😯
