Is anyone here planning on going to watch the rock racing on the 16th? I'd be interested in meeting up with anyone interested in going to watch.

It would be a fun event to check out. But, unfortunately the 16th lands on our annual Fall Maintenance Run for the Strawberry Trail.

Since my wife and I will not be able to attend the maintenace run, we will be going to the races at Prairie City on the 16th. If the racing is a bust, we can always check out the remodeled park.

Since the maintenance run is this day, I don't see members showing up. If they do, ask them why they weren't at the maintenance run!

The races were good. Lots of action and lots of breakage. Guy that won things overall broke his front ring gear on the first race and replaced it in the parking lot and proceeded to whoop ass. Sometimes there was too long between races, but that gave us time to view the vendors area.
