The Amazon air compressor that I currently have is painfully slow with my 35" tires, so looking to upgrade. I am considering an on-board system. I want to be able to air up faster and potentially have air lockers in the future. What options are there besides ARB, that might be more budget minded? I am considering a MorrFlate 2 tire hose kit to go with.

Ok, will need to order my lines. It is my understanding that all their compressors are portable instead of on-board.

If you have reasonable skill you can build your own lines for about half the cost, should financial consideration be part of your decision.
Or, you can just use a single air up line initially until your budget allows for the additional purchase.

So I ordered an ARB Twin and a Grimm Offroad mount that puts the compressor under the brake booster. Only piece I still "need" is a reservoir tank and I found one I can mount on top of the front receiver hitch that gives a gallon of storage.

I put a 2.5 (?) gallon air tank under my TJ. I found I never really needed it. It holds so little air it really isn't of much benefit. I plumbed it so that I could bypass it our use it when I wanted to. I used commercial truck air brake hose for the soft plumbing. I also mounted a quick connect in the hard plumbing in the engine compartment, right off the air compressor and a shutoff just past it, so in case a hose ever failed I could still air up. I also ran a braided line off a tee to the front bumper with a quick connect for airing up. I run my lockers off of the ARB twin and a small ARB manifold kit, which is what WFO recommended. Here is a link to the manifold (see pics in ad for hardware): ARB manifold

The 2 tire kit I ordered has the stubby manifold. So I will have to either look at a regolator that will auto shut off, or monitor it and shut it off by hand.

Paint gun flow regulator will work to get you +/- 5psi from a target. Good enough accuracy for load E tires on a 2 door.
