Shocks

One of my rear shocks has a slow oil leak so I'm thinking I should replace the rear shocks soon.

I currently have the RE Monotube shocks. Looking for a good shock that can handle the trails and also handle the Indy Jeep 500 race to the trails. 😁 (the second part being less important)

    Does anyone have any recommendations?

Are rebuildable shocks worth the $$$?

    Bilstein was recommended as well.

    Any thoughts?

Get an adjustable remote reservoir like the Rancho or something comparable. That way one shock can fit multiple needs.

How about the rebuildable (Fox, King, $$$) vs non-rebuildable (Rancho, Bilstein, $) in the long run?

Went to pick up some bushings and talk to Trevor at WFO yesterday. His thoughts were if I can fit 37s with SUA to stick with that. Also asked him if he thought this axle would work for my YJ and he said go for it. Picked it up today. Came with everything but shafts, steering, and locker, most of the other parts new. My friend has the locker which I may get later once I save more. It will still be a while before I get it in. Hopefully it works out. 😀

Is it okay if I thread jack myself? 😂 :hijack:
