If you aren't able to make Jeff's Rubicon Run - and have some free time - feel free to stop by my house on Sunday and help me dissassemble my jeep!

I'll provide some lunch for those that show up, and I have sodas and beer as always. You don't need any tools and the work shouldn't take more than a few hours. I plan to remove my fenders, front bumper/winch, rear corners, door frames and top, and probably sliders if they come off easily. This should be pretty easy work.

Any help would be appreciated but I understand if everyone is busy, given my late notice.

I'll probably start working at 10AM or so.
Please PM me if you're interested!

The jeep is getting painted. I need to remove all the major parts I don't want painted.

I bought the jeep in black so I wouldn't need to repaint the interrior. Although my interrior is green, silver and black (from the factory that way).

All my door jams and interior door metal and tailgate metal and hood will be repainted.

Thanks Josh and John for making time to help me out! Yes, I looks like one of those "hard core" Pairie City jeeps now!

Jeep goes in for paint tomorrow!

I've completed Bedlining all my accessories and have ordered new replacement nut certs for my flares. I should be ready to reassemble when the jeep returns!

Jeeps in for paint. Here are a couple pictures of the stripped jeep.

All the Mopar parts came in, but the decals were incorrect. The dealer located the correct decals and ordered them for me Monday. One is in, but the other is coming from back east and should be here by Friday.

Jeep should be done in less than a week. I may try to swing by on Friday and get some pictures.

I forgot to mention that the sliders weren't the most difficult thing to remove - it was the front bumper assembly. Once we figured it out, it came right off but it took two of us 30 minutes of playing with it until Josh stepped in, and it took the three of us another 15 minutes to solve the problem...

Up date for ya Brad. I drive by the paint place 10 times a day and I have been keeping an eye out for it. At 3pm today it was still black and out back.

Went by today. Jeep is prepped for paint. They are painting all the flat black today. Orange goes on Monday. The owner was a jeeper! I told him that if the work is awesome ill bring it back for pics they can use. They have all the doors off as well as the grill. Ill post a couple pictures later when I'm home.

Jeep's not done yet, but here's a picture of the hood. And you can see the color it is being painted.

Not going to loose it in the woods with that color

If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.
