I was thinking of getting 37x13.50r17 Toyo M/Ts.

I would then sell my current (basically new) Pro Comp 37s and get wheels and tires (31s) for my son's Jeep.

I'm thinking about trading to the Toyos because I hear the sidewalls are a lot stronger, they balance better, and Greg's 37s were BIGGER than mine crying2

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Are you against MTR's for sidewall strength? Just curious as to your opinion.

I liked all of MT/rRs, they are great but expensive.

I'm just thinking out load here, I might just stay with what I have now.

I'd like to jump up to 40s but then I'd have to wait forever before I could afford to do Hydro Assist steering.

I have the 38x13.50R18 D rated Toyos and plan on getting them again when the time comes. I believe the 37s are E rated.

Oh, I believe you're right. Scratch that idea, that's too stiff.

I will say, they are stiff, But the mileage and feel on the road were awesome!!  Way smoother than the factory tires!!  Just go with the 40x13.5x17 Toyos, C rated!

Um...what?

I have the coin if I wanted to upgrade to 40s, but not enough left for the hydro assist steering. That would put me out of wheeling for another year.

Don't do that! I was off for a couple of months and couldn't wait to get back out.

Ya, the smart money says stay on 37s. When these 37s wear out I should have enough saved to do 40s correctly.
