My 20 year old son and I just picked up a couple of dirt bikes. I was wondering if any folks in the club also ride dirt bikes? We are planning on doing some camping / Jeeping / dirt bike riding this summer.

I used to until my 1981 Yamaha XT250 engine suffered some major damage. It is now a project bike low on the priority list. Sounds like fun. I guess I'll be sticking with the truck for a while.

Offline Jeff, we are riding our quads on Saturday the 13th of May. One place we often ride is just outside of Dutch Flat. There was a wildfire through there a few years ago so that opened up a lot of new area, especially for dirt bikes. There are some nice hills for bikes. My friends and I will be on roads and ATV trails but we can show you a good place to ride your bikes if you're interested. There is an outside chance we might go somewhere else up higher but that is not likely due to the snow. I will know the location for sure in a few days.

Let me know and maybe we can meet up with you folks! I may be up at Dutch Flat on Sunday. You will be enjoying the Silver State Trip this weekend. It should be a really good time! Wish we were going on that one as well.
