Crazy! I went to let my dog out at 0400 and he wouldn't go, he was looking at me like I was nuts. Then I looked outside and it all made since. lol
Driving to work, there was snow on the ground all the way to the HWY65 turn off. 😯

We got about a foot at the house. It's super light and powdery so the driving was no big deal. I was almost a bit disappointed. I was hoping to have to air down to drive to work. lol

Only about an inch here, just enough to cover the ground.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

That's what I had this morning too.

One of the guys I work with is stuck at home in Shingle Springs today. He says there's at least 8" snow at his place. The power is out and he has no generator. Trees are falling and have blocked the road and damaged fences. He got his 4x4 Toyota Tundra stuck in a ditch trying to help clear the trees. I offered to help get him and his family out if he decides to leave. He pulled the battery out of his boat, attached an inverter to power up his satellite dish to send the picture below.

Here's a picture of the snow at my Dad's house in Auburn, and a picture of his ham antenna that he is closely watching to make sure it doesn't come down. 😯

We got about 4 inches at our house.

The boys sledded down the front yard and we had a snowball fight before I went to work.

It was super fun.

We've probably got about half left. I'm not sure how much melted and how much it compacted. It was really light and powdery this morning. We're also in one of the colder spots in the area and a little higher than town so we get more than Grass Valley proper. Grass Valley only had a few inches left when I left work.

You have family up here right? Let me know if they need help.

Thanks for the offer. Everyones OK. My Mom's hunkered down but she down lower, around 1700 ft. My inlaws were out of town and are heading home tonight. They live up by Nevada Union HS so they'll have an interesting drive home. My sister is still without power, but they have a generator and a wood stove.

Closed Mondays.
