    While it's kind of funny at first, it's really too bad he did that. He probably ruined his wife's interest in firearms.

    True, but that doesn't make sense to me. If you have a firearm in the house, everyone should know how to use and respect it. It looked like she was curious and should have been educated rather than have fear instilled in her.
