Im in the market for a gun safe at the moment, can any of you offer any recommendations for a quality gun safe? I know we have Liberty Safes in west sac, and cold steel safes in Roseville. I plan to buy bigger then I need so I can grow into it. I'm mainly looking for quality construction that will stand the test of time and a burglar. Preferably 10 gauge or better.
Any thoughts?

Remember to look at the fire rating, and ask about heat rating. I had a friend that lost guns do to heat damage. The plastic parts melted totaling some of the guns.

I bought mine from Liberty in West Sac. They have a huge selection and a bunch of different quality levels. It's worth stopping in since they also had some floor models when I was there.

but if your looking top of the line stuff the two places you mentioned will probably be better - sometimes calguns can be good but then you have to deal with calguns

Found one on clearance at Sams Club yesterday. It's $499, which was at least 200 off Sams regular price (it's 100 below their previous sale price). I don't know/have any details. I sent Greg a pic but it's there if anyone wants it. Located in the back of the store near the freezer section.
