Does anyone have any interesting information to share?
For example:
Did everyone know that the new MT/R comes in a 38/14.5/17? I didn't know that until last night. That will probably be my next tire on the yellow jeep, and then the black jeep.
Has anyone gone to the Sierra Trading Post Outlet in Reno? I think Keane knew it was there.
Does everyone know that Scheels is about twice the size of Cabellas and Bass Pro Shop? I think Fred has been to Scheels in Sparks. We went this past weekend.

I told you that weeks ago...here's a pic of the 38s next to the 37s 8)
I'll be going with those or the Maxxis Creepy Crawlers in 38x13.0x15.
Now that is a good pic! It shows the difference between the two sizes of the same tire.

If those tires are mounted they're mounted with the wrong side out. The guy at America's Tire did that with my new spare. 🙄

The tires on the jeep are mounted! Are they backwards? It seems the lugs roll the correction direction. Should the tires be flipped and reversed?
The closer spaced tread blocks are suppose to be toward the inside of the vehicle. Take a look at Rob's picture in this topic - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=4069
Take a look at the pictures in this review too - http://www.trucktrend.com/features/cons ... index.html

Goodyear claims the tires are not directional, although they sure do look like they would be.

The Webuilt club will be fixing the off camber ledge on Fordyce next weekend.
The only really hard part of the little sluce is the opening obstacle.
I can use Rubicon inner axle shafts as spares. They are 1/4" shorter than mine.
It's hard to buy guns and ammo right now because Obama raised the taxes sky high.
So there was a run on firearms. Nice plan there Skippy. At least we have a well armed society.
Justin went to the Rubicon over the 4th and hasn't bothered to tell us how it was 👿
I used to wheel a lot. . .

I found this information on pirate very interesting. They broke axles with a machine.
PRODUCT ............................................ FT.LB. TORQUE.... Deg. of TWIST
Yukon 4340 Dana 60 35 spline short side axle.........12,000......130
Stock Dana 60 35 spline short side axle ..................6,500........35
Yukon 4340 Dana 44 30 spline short side axle ..........5,800 .......35
Stock dana 44 30 spline.......................................5,000 ........35
Yukon 4340 Birfield Eliminator kit (ear failure)............5,500.......50
Longfield Toy 4340 30 spline (shaft failure)...............8,500.......175
Longfield Toy 4340 27 spline..................................6,500..... ..75
Stock Toyota Birfield.......................................... ..4,200 ......45
Stock Toyota Inner Axle........................................5,000 .......45
All Pro "Profield".................................... .... .......... 3,500 ......30
TJ Rubi Longfield front...........................................6, 800.......75
TJ Rubi Superior front (shaft failure).........................5,800........40
TJ Rubi US Alloy front............................................5 ,000........40
TJ Rubi Yukon front............................................. .4,100........50
TJ Rubi stock front (ear failure)...............................2,500...... ..10
TJ Rubi stock front (ear failure)...............................2,000...... ..10
So a stock D44 30spline is far stronger than a stock Rubi...
Um...what?

there is a gadget I just saw a few days ago that allows you to get wired ethernet across home power wiring.
it plugs into the wall and can move room to room.
I guess these have been out for a while, but I've not noticed them. Prices seem to be all over the place but, way cheaper than tearing up drywall to run cat6 cable.

You took the easy line, most people go up the middle over the big rocks, not around them ..I will show you when my Jeep is done 😀
