This past weekend I was talking with Kathleen about tethering iphones for internet access on laptops. Until today I thought you had to jailbreak the iphone to do it. Apparently if you've upgraded to the 3.0 or 3.0.1 OS you don't have to jailbreak to turn it on.

its like playing the slot machines in vegas. i keep feeding the machine my money, somehow it makes me feel good. maybe its the noise the machine makes when you hit the buttons, maybe its the hypnotic symbols spinning out of control only to stop with one not matching. i run out of money, then i feel real bad because i spent way to much on something i really didnt need to spend my money on. then i walk out of the casino only to see a cooler bigger brighter machine with a higher payout just next door. conveniently there is an atm near the machine. i get excited again, so i give it another go. same result, same feeling..................
