I want to start off by apologizing for keeping the club as well as others stuck up on the hill for so long and I can not thank the club enough for all the support with my family, the jeep, the rides, the being available in the days afterwords for anything we might need. It is truly amazing and with those of you that were there or have been through the last couple days I have been trying to stay strong and not let it affect me but it has been very difficult, after knowing the family is ok, as i have spent alot of time and have many great memories in this vehicle and with you guys and the support you have given, I will not ever be able to let you know how valuable it is to me and the family. Thank you so much!
I will not discuss the actual incident until insurance has been solved and I ask that you all do the same.
I have not met with them yet but what I am asking for is if anyone in their normal web, dealership, or what have you dos, cruisings sees a jeep that I can use as value if they try and low ball me (I am assuming they will total it). I am looking for stock and modified similar to mine 07-09 wrangler unlimited rubicons in an 80,000 mile plus rang (i sit at 100762). No need to go out of your way and I will be hitting alot of the sights myself looking but if you happen to see anything send it my way, and if its on a lot a few pictures.
Again thank you everyone so much and I don't want to leave anyone out but Brad Kathleen as well as your kids you have been so helpful and caring, Guy and Lynda you almost make it feel as though I have to use a stick to beat you away and we love it! (its such a good thing knowing I could call you for anything and even though your 45 minutes away you would be there in 10 minutes) Kevin and Rich for the rides that really made that night so much easier. Greg, Gill betty, Jeff, Brent, Dave lori, Everyone there at that subway that night (im sorry if i have forgotten anyone by name it was a bit hectic that night and although im trying my best as VP I do need to work on some names still). I will keep everyone updated at a later date probably in a different topic

I went through this process when I totaled my first Jeep LJ in 2009. If you have additional insurance to cover the add-ons then things are a little different but not necessarily easier.
Start by searching craigslist and printing out adds for similarly equipped jeeps. I needed about 10 of these with my LJ. This is the ask in your post so it seems like you have gotten some good advice somewhere. I have put some links below.
Second, make a spreadsheet of all the add-on parts, web links, and their costs. If you have homemade parts then list something similar from the aftermarket. If you have extra coverage then this is your basis for reimbursement. If you dont have extra coverage then this is a starting point for parting out the rig.
Third, if you can operate without a vehicle for a while, push back on their offers and take up as much time as you can. They have a window of time to settle claims before it starts to impact their numbers and pay checks.
Fourth, dont be afraid to part the Jeep out. I was able to buy-back the wrecked Jeep for $7k and parted it out for around ~$14k over a few months on craigslist.

This was where Kris really laid down some eye opening information for me regarding vehicles. A lot of this I've never thought about. People joke about jeeps being apart of their life but it's true when you invest so much time, money, blood, sweat and tears into these rigs they become part of the family.
Um...what?

Sounds like you ended up in my old next door neighbors in Pollock Pines vehicle for shelter (Dawn and Jeff Hall and Family) She posted on Facebook how her day went playing in the snow and how it ended. Read what happened here and put it all together.
Dawn says she was glad she could help, and she loved holding the baby...
