One step closer to keeping up with you guys. I just had them installed today. As you can see, they forgot to order the center caps, which now are on the way. It's been a long time since I bought a new set of tires like this - and I had forgotten how much better new tires make a truck drive and feel. It is like night and day. Of course, the tires I had on it were from 2001, so that probably explains some of the poor handling, haha.
The tires are Mickey Thompson "Deegan 38s" in 37x12.50x17. So far so good. They are not too loud, handle great, and look sharp.
America's Tire in Folsom would not be undersold. They matched the three for one deal that Pep Boys was offering. Overall say they did a fantastic job and clearly out-hustled the other two or three shops that I visited.

Looks good, honestly a perfect size for that rig visually. Now you just need to find a spare that doesnt look so tiny.
haha, yes the spare looks totally ridiculous. I did buy a 5th 17" wheel but am hoping to find a used 37" tire for reasonably cheap. . . hopefully newer than the 2001-made spare that is currently on the vehicle.
