I've pulled these posts regarding a change in meeting location from the August 12 meeting topic. There's a good chance we will need to find a new meeting location. The current location may not be available soon.

Fred

I can see it now...

Two Posse clubs; one Eldo Chapter and one Penryn Chapter.
We could meet together twice a year at 4 wheel parts and do the trail maintenances together We could just have a sub-forum right here on this site mr-green

I used to wheel a lot. . .

With a change of meeting sites, we could all be the Penryn Posse. Seems fair, eight years on the 50 side, so eight years on the 80 side will work. Pizza Factory here in Loomis has a nice meeting room. Other clubs have already hung stuff up in there. We could hang a small sign and pictures of our vehicles. Then I'd be as close to the meeting as Brad 😈

All in favor...

I am only kidding guys,,,Don't Black-Ball me. We already have to Black-Ball Fred. We can't afford to lose two officers in the same month.

You can't take back your meeting place before we have a chance to vote on it. I was going to vote yes. 😀

What about something in the middle? Is there something around Douglas that would be reasonable for everyone?

There's a bunch of stuff around Douglas and Folsom.
It would be a good time to visit the idea of changing to somewhere more centraly located for the 50 AND 80 crowd.

Where are our members located?
-Folsom
-Roseville
-EDH
-Loomis
-Nicolaus
-Natomas
-Elk Grove
-Grass Valley (I don't really count since I moved away, but I'm not going to argue with a closer spot! 😀 )

Where do we attract folks from?
-Placerville last night
-Any other common locations?

Douglas and Folsom seem like a natural fit. There's a Round Table there...

6811 Douglas Boulevard
Granite Bay, CA 95746-6257
(916) 791-8063

Anyone know if they have a meeting room?

The douglas and folsom location seems like a good fit. Does someone live near there to check if they have a room - and aren't going out of business!

Nobody lives next to it, that's the point lol
I can swing by there tomorrow and check it out if we are considering it.

I would consider that location an ideal alternative if we are moving the meetings. I think it is a balance to the majority of our members.

Any other thoughts on a different meeting location? John and I have done most of the talking (go figure). Looking at it, I really don't think it means much more driving for most folks (other than Brad).

Brad talked to the manager at the EDH Round Table to reserve the room for next year. Sounds like they're trying to determine if the place should even stay open. There's a legitimate possibility that we're going to need to find a new location.

How bout chineese food? Or Mexican? Or maybe we can find an old school diner or burger joint. That would be cool.

From what I can gather we're pretty open. They just need to have a meeting room. Got any suggestions?
