    There's a combination rock crawling / desert racing event there starting today I think, called King of the Hammers. I read about it over on the Pirate board but can't find the link right now. Pirate4x4 TV is suppose to have some online video coverage.

    The Hammers is a slice of hell, with critters that only want to harm you; Snakes, Giant Lizards, Coyotes, and Rock Goblins...

    (We found one in our house in Folsom one time. We called him Lefty. I first found him in the garage and had a knife in my hand. I whacked at him and chopped off his left claw. He fell behind something and got away. A few days later we found him on the fireplace mantle. His life was tragically cut short this time.)

    One of my friends is competing in the KOH. Wish I could go and watch him. 🙁

    Again, it's not the flop I care about. It's when the flop doesn't stop, that's when I freak out. And, if I remember correctly, your 4runner has a longer wheel base than my Jeep. 😀
