How do we get our forum on tapatalk?
Tapatalk is a forum app for mobile devices. Allows easy navigation of forums and easy uploads of photos from your small magic box.

Offline Doesn't look like it costs the Forum Owner anything but it costs the user $2.99 for the app to take advantage of it.

From what I can see it is compatible with what we currently have, but I'm no expert.

Tapatalk will reformat for easier reading. I usually use the Safari browser on my iPhone. Some smart phones don't use that kind of browser.

Offline I took a look at the tapatalk website. It looks like someone would have to register on their website as a forum owner and download the phpbb mod. Then look through the file updates the mod requires and compare them to our current software & mods to see if the mod would just drop in or if there would be any conflicts with existing mods. It's not as simple as downloading the file and running setup.exe.
I'll download it to my own laptop and take a look at how extensive the mod it. If it doesn't look like too big of a project I'll check in with John to see if he wants to move forward with it.

Offline I just sent a pm, but the install looks pretty simple. Almost as easy as running setup.exe 😛 John, if you could give me temporary admin privileges I'll try to get this set up tomorrow.

kudos for checking it out. I've put it on 2 sites and its a great feature. Although I've not tried it with Phpbb, I'm sure its comparable. It makes posting and PMs simpler from interactivity pov.

Looks just fine to me.... I'm sending this on my I phone from the sand of Pismo Beach. Works good for a FOA (friend of apple)....

I have an iPhone. I just find the tapatalk app more user friendly. I posted this whole thread through my phone as I watched our VP dissasembly his rear differential. It would be cool to upload photos from my iPhone like you can through tapatalk. I will gladly show anyone tapatalk at one of our social gatherings.

Oh good. I didn't want you to be offended. Tapatalk will only create more interaction with the forum.
I'm not sure the VP know what he is doing with his rear diff but it fun to watch him try. I think his front pinion seal was not sealing.
