Brad and John...where did you guys get those circus tents that you used at the last club campout. My 2 person Kelty just isn't going to cut it anymore.

No...didn't both of you guys had massive tents at the last club campout? I'm looking for something I can fit two people and a porta crib in. It also needs to be reasonably priced. Tents get expensive! 😯

Our tent came from Target at a half off sale. It was $49 for an 11x11 tent. It only came in green unfortunately. No red and blue stripe option...

John, isn't your tent about 12x10, or bigger?

This one might be almost big enough for one baby and his caretakers. http://www.rei.com/product/785387

Walmart's website lists a few large tents.

Should do it. Maybe I'll offer them $50 for it and see if they bite!

Just bought a 10x8 Coleman at Big 5 - $59.00 ish.
Or go to Denio's Auction - we bought larger Coleman 12x11 for $69.00 (last year's model I believe)
from this guy that sells camping gear every weekend. Any problems with tent - bring back for
full refund.

we found a 10x10 was about right when we had one kid. With two, it seemed small, especially because we have oversized air mattresses, so last year we bought a 17x10 monster because it was really cheap at costco. IIRC about $50 delivered.

17x10 sounds alot bigger than it is. it is really an 10x10 with sloping extensions on two sides that narrow down.

I"m impressed how quickly it sets up, even if you have no help.

Closed Mondays.

Skip the tent and go straight to a trailer. Much easier with a baby or kids. I will sell you mine. I am looking to step up to a Toy Hauler. 😀

I wish. Actually, I'd love to get one of those pop up trailers. Looks like about the perfect compromise. I could buy one for about the same price as Alex's tent. 😀

You can get pop ups at a pretty decent price used. When we first got in the market for a trailer we looked at those, but what held us back was all the storage is in floor cabinets (no overhead) which means you are always bending down to get something and no real bathroom. Having a shower and bathtub in our current trailer makes it easy to give the kids a bath when they were smaller and a shower for us. Its tough getting old!! 😀
