Truck Broke Into :(

Soccer game at Metro tonight (9:50pm) and after 3 years, truck got broken into. The one time I leave my wallet in the truck. 🙁 3 other vehicles were hit. Girl on soccer team we played against was getting in car that was right behind me. They booked it out of there. Was odd to NOT mention anything as they were right next to another car that got broke into. Rancho Cordova PD came out. Metro Soccer notified. No cameras, but high lit parking area. Canceled almost all the cards tonight. SSN card was in there. Lost the girls cards that had their birth weight and height info. 🙁

Could have been worse....but smashing their face is all I can (unGodly) doing at the moment. 👿 👿 👿

They took my ammo can with my recovery straps.

Man, I am really sorry ... especially about your wallet. That takes forever to get all that stuff cleared up, renewed and replaced.

Total bummer. I hate thieves. When I lived in Tahoe Park my truck was broken into so often I stopped locking my truck so they'd stop breaking my window. 🙄

Sorry to hear about the break in Carl. I hope it was only money they were after.

Thanks peeps.

Just a real bugger. As said, it could have been worse. They really rummaged through everything. Just a complete mess in there. My only ID is work ID. 2 of the vehicles were right next to me and the 4th was different no light area, but was the main parking. So....these ppl were looking specifically at vehicles. 2 of them had work laptops lifted. One of them my teammate and coworker. Definitely will be a repeat at this arena....

DMV line was reDONKulously long today and good thing have an appt Thursday.

My real only valuable thing was the kids' original birth info sheets.

Anyways, I got a good laugh on Bender's repeat business. My glass won't get replaced till Thursday. I have an alarm...and yeah didn't set it. Not sure it would have activated though nor confident it would have helped.

Do you have a glass breakage sensor (GBS) or a sonar interior sensor? I have the sonar on my jeep and you can't stick your hand in my jeep without setting it off, even with no top and no upper doors.

Isn't your rear quarter glass bolt in? I thought those rear windows pivot out and use bolt on hinges...

I think my truck being 2000 does not have those features. Yes that is the kind of window.

That's a bummer. Maybe you can add GBS to your current alarm?
