Any idea how much I could get parting out an 89 F350 with no front axle? Our auction here at work is on Wednesday. There's a nice 3/4 ton sitting up there. I'm rolling around the idea of parting out the old Ford. It seems to be headed downhill and the round number estimate I got on taking care of some of the problems was more than the truck is worth and more than the truck in the auction. Any thoughts?

If I could make about $1,000 in parting the thing out, it would be worth it. Seems like a fair amount though.

What has the real value?

Is the motor strong? You'd probably be looking at the value in the motor, tranny, t-case, and rear end. Think you can get $1000 for those items? Isn't the motor a 460?

The truck in the auction went for quite a bit more than I was hoping. Looks like the old 350's going to have to hang on for another wood/winter season.
