As we plan on going on the Maintenance run in May, are lockers a necessity to complete the entire trail or no?

We won't make the entire trail on the spring run. Lockers are not required. All you need is a recovery strap and a great attitude. The group will help out.

Do you have track lok in the rear?

After the dumping over the last few days and the present forecast, you may be on the mark.

I think Rob is right. There is currently 12 ft of snow at strawberry lodge.

It'll be interesting to see how long the forest service extends their seasonal closure.

Probably won't matter for trails like Fordyce, I would highly doubt we will be able to cross the river until September or October. With the amount of snow and run off, they will run the flows at 400 plus until then!!

Now that I sold the 4Runner, I may have to break out the kayak again. 8)

What the hey, this forum needs to be the :attention:

What crossed my mind was that TomD didn't even need lockers nor a stinkin' strap.

The snow and wet...made some spots interesting enough to use lockers though. Right Jeff?
