The Fall Maintenance Run is coming up fast; Saturday October 13th.
Since this is the fall run, we can cover the trail from both sides. We’ll meet at the gas station/Subway in Pollock Pines at 8:30am and leave by 9am. From there we can split up and run the trail from both sides.
Remember that you can ride with other members and only need to bring some gloves and a garbage bag. Other helpful items are shovels, rakes, loppers, a chainsaw, pry bars and pruning shears. For members/active prospects - maintenance run attendance is a requirement under our by-laws, so if you did not make the spring run, you should plan to attend this one.
I’d like to fill in wash outs and look for area’s to correct and/or prevent erosion damage if possible.
Check V-Rock, Check the bypasses, remove downed trees or stumps from the trail, and of course litter removal,
Can I get a count of who is in?
So far we have:

Not opposed to that if it means more folks get the opportunity to go. We can discuss at the meeting Thursday at 4 Wheel Parts.

Yep.....we are still a go for Saturday, 10/13/2012. Meet at the Subway in Pollock Pines between 8:30 - 9:00am. I've been exchanging emails with Kyle from the DOF this morning. He's wanted me to pass along his thanks to the club for our continued commitment. He would like to meet us at the trail head between 9 - 9:15am to share some things he would like to be done on the trail. He might even run the trail with us if time permits. If we feel more work needs to be done, we'll make a second run the following weekend.
And yes!!!! Please re-confirm who is going. We had 3 or 4 or more last night with at least 2 that needed to ride along.

Guess I was thinking Lee was still here to lead the drive. (Lee was a past Trail Master who used to like to lead the pack at 75+ mph down highway 50) I'll tell Kyle more like 9:30 - 9:45(ish) - Guest former userGuest former user
